Flowers are a great addition to any occasion, from once in a lifetime events to the everyday!

With a background in fine art and many years spent working at traditional floral shops and honing her floral skills, Sarah brings a unique and trained eye to creating beautiful floral designs. She finds endless inspiration from the natural world and what is growing in the garden from week to week.

We offer design services such as wedding and event florals, special deliveries, and flower subscriptions during the growing season here in Cincinnati, primarily from May-October.

Sustainable practices are a benchmark of our floral work.

We strive to use the most environmentally friendly practices that work with the natural world, not against it. Many of the floral industry’s standards–toxic floral foam, harmful chemicals, and endless plastic–have harmful environmental impacts.

We seek to reduce these impacts in our designs by making ecologically conscious choices in areas such as our flower sourcing, mechanics, and how we dispose of our waste.

Flower Sourcing

We prioritize using flowers grown in our gardens whenever possible, and supplement with other locally grown or sustainably sourced blooms when necessary. We never use bleached or dyed flowers and instead present them as they are grown or naturally dried.

Our work is inspired by the ephemeral beauty of the seasons, using the most fresh seasonal product available.

Mechanics

We do not use floral foam, which leaks microplastics into our waterways, and instead utilize mechanics such as chicken wire and flower frogs which are reusable. We make every effort to use materials that are able to be reused, recycled, or composted.

Waste

To minimize the waste traditionally created by large scale floral event design, we repurpose or recycle our materials and compost our green waste to nourish our gardens.
